You have read 20 James Patterson books and loved every one of them. However, you would like to try a different author whose books have similar plot twists, suspense, gritty atmospheres, and terrific detective characters as Patterson’s books. You’re too busy to browse the shelves and are not sure where to start. What to do?

 

We have a service for that: The Plattekill Public Library offers Customized Book Selections. Through this service, you can use the library’s online form to submit a request by preferred genre, preferred format, and additional information. Library staff members will select up to 4

books to match your request, place them together, and have them ready for you to pick up.

 

This service is available to all Plattekill Library patrons who have a card.

 

Here’s how to request Customized Book Selections:

 

• Access the online form

 

• Provide your name and email

 

• Choose the book format you would prefer (books, audiobooks on CD, eBooks, digital audiobooks, or large print).
• Specify your preferred genre from the

 

• If the genre is not on the library list, write that in the “other genre”

 

• Fill out the box for “three books or authors you have ”

 

• Indicate “yes” or “no” about whether you would like the library to place the bundle on

 

• Give a date for when you would like your materials by.

 

• Fill in the comment box with any additional information that would be helpful for library staff to create your Customized Book Selections.
• The library will notify you when the books are ready for you to pick
