WHO: Christine Adams for the Friends of the Plattekill Public
Library Christine has
worked at a major craft store for 5 years, attended Creating Keepsakes
University In 2005 and teaches a monthly scrapbook/card making class at her
home. She is very creative, fun and passionate about Scrapbooking and is
an active member of the Friends.
WHERE:
The Community Center below the library (Route 32 in Modena)
WHAT: 12” x 12”, 2 page layout, themed “FRIENDS.” It
is a versatile design that can be used for a girl or boy, any age, or it can be
changed to another theme. Please join us for a night of fun and
creativity! We’ll cover the basics on getting started, planning and
design, theme ideas, techniques and tips. Learn about different products and how
to recycle the unexpected into your own scrapbook pages! There will be products
for sale at great prices!
This
seminar is sponsored by the Friends of the Plattekill Library and the proceeds
will directly support their fundraising campaign to earn enough money to cover
expenses associated with becoming designated as an official not-for-profit
organization. Once this designation is achieved, they will be eligible to
apply for many grant funding opportunities to add library programs and
services and fund physical improvements and maybe even a new building some
day! Thank you for your support.
