Lynne noted per the Library’s real estate attorney, removal of the above ground oil tanks is part and parcel of the removal of the trailer as stated in the contract.

There is no survey on record for the property; a survey will be necessary should the Library decide to purchase the site.  Will stated he would contact Brooks & Brooks, PC Surveying, Planning, GIS about doing a survey to determine the property line. The Library’s attorney estimated that the cost of a survey would be approximately $2500. Additionally, Lynne discussed with the Library’s attorney title insurance, which he estimated would cost $1000.  The Board also discussed the need to perform water testing at the site.
